ITS ALIVE!!! ^_^

The merger tried to kill it, the IMD guys tried to kill heck i think even god himself doesn't want this to happen but it is (hopefully) yes ladies and gentlemen NEW:CTRL is still alive and will continue to do whatever it is that we do. Jonathan, Andy, AJ and myself will try and keep this blog and team going for a long time yet we hope to use this as way of sharing our information to each other over the holidays and a way to work together on a few freelance/general interest projects. So don't worry we'll be back later with more posts as soon as the final hand-ins are over.

NEW:[ctrl] - Bye for now?

NEW:[ctrl] has now merged with Pipe Vision from Interactive Media Design. Pipe Vision consists of David Flynn, David Gillespie and Marius Chisholm.

This will be a new venture working on the Product 'Pipe Vision'. A storytelling device using both visuals and sound. The product has been marketted at a retired plumber. It is now our jobs to develop this into a product suitable for Seattle.

Details of new website, blog and company information will be posted in due course.

Produce

NEW:[ctrl] 'Produce'

‘Produce’ acts as a gardeners journal that would allow each member of the co-operative easy communication to organise a business built in the local area. The screen shots listed below are from our most recent presentation of the concept.

By recording your own expertise into the handheld product you can share this information with the local community. The community then work together using this information to organise a business which sells a wide variety of produce.

A key note is that the forum and blogging systems are constantly being used and updated all year round. Gardening issues are also being raised.

We need to keep in mind that our company name is subject to change (possibly) if or when the company is to merge or grow.

I managed to phone my source, thankfully they didnt see any problem with the letter idea.

Getting Started

Hey there, just getting started on a new and exciting project for the uni that is being run by/through microsoft. Our company name is NEW:CTRL, cosisting of me (Jamie), Jonathan, AJ and Andy. This first post is just to get the blog started and more info, updates will be added soon, bye ^_^
